How does a person get along in this technology driven world and not own a camera? That's me! I never owned a camera. Well, only disposable cameras - with a mountain of undeveloped film. I almost never remembered a camera until the event was happening or over. I have missed so many shots that can't be recaptured. This is much to my sorrow.
I promised myself and the boys we would get a camera. So, the other day I picked up a Nikon Coolpix L18. We are having fun playing around with it. We have even made some video clips. I wonder how to put that on my blog...hmmm....
Faithful has been driven into a snapshot frenzy. Some of the photos are grainy and not quite focused. I promised I would post some, much to his delight. For your veiwing pleasure...
Faithful's Self Portrait
My ds - 10
"Mom, quick get the field guide!"
"Cool, look at this mosquito hopper."
"Mom, is this a sparrow?"
Without Jeannie Fulbright's - Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day, I doubt this much interest in birds would have been generated. Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day is coming up. I wonder how Faithful plans to get a picture or two of all the lovely things in the sea. I'll have to get an underwater camera and be certified to scuba dive I'm sure.
